Woodchester
is an attractive village, and part of “the
Undiscovered Cotswolds” and thus is not overrun by the tourists.
There is an excellent local pub only a short walk away, offering
good value food and a wide range of local beers and a reasonable
wine list. There are also many other excellent eateries
and attractive pubs within a few minutes drive .. or a slightly
longer walk!

The
village is an ideal centre for the Cotswolds, and is close to Slimbridge,
Berkeley
Castle, Westonbirt
Arboretum and many local attractions, including the Badminton and
Gatcombe Horse Trials. There
is also easy access to Bristol and
Bath, Gloucester
and Cheltenham, making it a good
stop over for the various “Festivals”. |
